  • At what point should I interface with my billing system?
     
    Once you decide that the manual process of billing interface maintenance is too cumbersome, then it is time to consider an automated interface. Some billing systems require an automated approach to operate properly and should be handled at the beginning of the project.
  • When I interface, can I perform all of the functions from the billing system?
     
    Yes, there are no limitations from our perspective on billing system integration. The only limitations are driven by the CIS billing systems and cost.
  • Can we have a server on-site?

    Yes, you can choose to host your own on-site server to operate completely independently from the internet.
  • If we choose to host a server on-site, what does it cost?
     
    The on-site costs depend on the size of the deployment and the specific requirements of your network administrator.
  • At what point should I have an on-site server?
     
    There is no requirement or limitation which drives the decision to be on-site. That is strictly a determination made by the utility based on internal policies.
  • Can I put my customer information on your web interface?
     
    Yes, but that is not advisable. Your customer information should reside in your billing system on record to ensure accuracy.
  • Is there any additional information on the devices that you can provide me that isn’t on your website?  
     
    Yes, we can provide all of the technical and testing information upon request. In addition, if there is specific documentation required for training or other purposes - that can be provided as well.
