Huntsville, AL - March 14, 2007 - Michael L. Smalley has joined Carina Technology, Inc. as Vice President of Business Development where he will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic product and marketing direction for the company.  Prior to joining Carina, Smalley served as Alternate Channel Manager at Deltacom.

Smalley is a veteran of the telecommunications industry with over 24 years of experience in a variety of leadership roles.  His combined background in both business development and hardware engineering management, along with key experiences in the telecommunications industry offers Carina a unique opportunity to leverage his expertise.
